clock and hatch problems. I need help

I have a problem with my clock that i got to hit it pretty hard to make it turn on but it doesnt lose it memory. now I cant make it turn on at all no matter how hard I hit it. Any help. Also I have to slam my hath for the open hatch light to turn off.

Pull the idiot lite assembly and re-solder all the bad connections. Do a search on this subject, pretty easy and a commom problem!
