"Trim" is a weird terminology not used by most people.
Trim is actually smaller / top diameter of the wheel divided by larger / bottom of the wheel x 100.
This is the trim number.
HKS is about the only folks who use trim numbers for describing their turbos.
This trim number can be applied to both compressor and turbine wheels.
