hmm my car did something strange today...i was starting it in the morning and before it started cranking when i turned the key...it made a clicking sound about 10 times...anyone know what this might be? hopefully something simple and fixable...i didnt do it again after it started up and i turned off my engine and started again btw.

 

sounds like you need to clean your terminals on the starter and battery or maybe you need a new batery.. could be many many problems bad grounds ect

 

If you mean clicking by when you turned the key the starter didnt turn over then it could be your starter on its way out. You can either buy a new/rebuilt starter or buy a rebuild kit if you can find one for probably 20 bucks (if you know how to rebuild stuff like that) Mine does the same thing. its little more than an annoyance
