Cleaning seat tracks

Is there a way to seperate the two parts of a track to clean and regrease it? If not, is there another way to do clean and regrease it? I already have the tracks off the seat.

I've already checked. If you look closely you'll see pressed ends where It limits the range of motion. I currently have them off. I made the mistake to glassbead them and you guessed It - the tracks locked. With a lotta muscling and a couple shots of WD-40, I freed them and painted them since. Now remembering how they go back on my Sparco's (with the bracket) Is another scenario I've got to deal with.

You'll damage them. If you make an attempt, you'll probably lose them. Why not soak or spray a heavy duty degreaser on them, wipe them down, spray or soak again and use compressed air to blow out the residue?

From there, use a wire brush wheel to rid the attachment points of rust, prime than paint. Fini!
