Cleaning the Intake Manifolds

What should i used to clean the intake manifolds? I would like to have them sand blasted with the housings, since the motor is getting rebuilt, but thats gonna take a good 2-3 weeks and i just don't have the time.

So what are some good chemicals to buy like at the local autoparts store?

I just used a wire wheel on a drill. Worked awesome for me. They're all nice and shiny now, they were corroded all to hell.

Wire wheel and a drill....

Keep in mind that unless you coat them they will again start to look horrid after a few weeks.
