.. You don't port the wastegate itself, you port the hot side of the turbo where the wastegate flap is. (You'll see when you take the turbo off)

Ill post pics tonight of where to port. Its pretty easy. The hard part is all the heat shields on the turbo manifold. While you have it out its a good chance toclean up that side of your motor. Deff get a carbide bit to do the porting. I bought a regular bit for my grinder and the wastegate hole chewed it up like it was nothin. Overall the process is easy just time consuming if you have never taken the turbo off prior. PM me if you have any questions on it

Maybe one day when I'm board ill do a how-to since there isn't a step by step for an s4 (that I know of) there is one for an s5 (which is pretty much the same) but I like doing how-to's. Lol. We really need a how to thread on here

take off turbo
seperate hotside from intake side think 8 or 10 12mm bolts then pull apart
undo the back cover think 4 14mm bolts
undo the actuater so the flap folds back so you caqn port it
i used a dremel and ate threw 4 bits but got it to about 33mm
used a thick 3mm nickel plated washer and tack welded it to the swivel stock flapper
opened/closed couple times to make sure it dosnt hang anywhere
wash out thouroghly and reassemble (anti-seize is your friend on all bolts)

been a couple years since i did it and im pretty sure its archived(+ football is almost on so search if needed)

Only question I still have is the 2 bolts that are under the oil port on the turbo itself. How do I get those out. When unbolting them they hit the bottom of the housing. I tried clocking the turbo and I couldn't get that part to move. Thanks
