Exclamation Cleaned injectors now more problems??

Ok guys ima try to explain this the best i can. Well about a week ago i got tired of my motor flooding everytime i cut it off so i pulled apart the top of the motor and sent my injectors off to witchhunters. Well they came back today and i put everything back on with all the vaccum hoses and fuel lines and just kinda cleaned everything up and checked all the grounds and electrical connectors the best i could, well when i went to crank the car it wouldnt crank, and it wouldnt crank and it wouldnt crank, i checked to see if it was flooded but the plugs were dry, and my brother checked for spark but there was none. So I let it sit for like 5 min. and i tried it again and if somehow or another cranked up. It was hard at first like it was firing barly or something but surely it cranked. Seems to run the same so i took it up the road and then brought it back and popped the hood while it was running, and there was a fire from somewhere down where the turbo Is. (88 TII BTW). So i cut it off and barley sprayed water in the area and it put the fire out, it wasnt flaming hard just kinda There so i wasent gas i dont suppose. But anyways i let it sit for like 10 min and i tried to crank it back up and its like it is fireing but it just wont crank all the way up but like the first time i finally cranked and i let it run for a sec and then took it up the road again and again, but no fires this time... Also the stock exhaust sucks cause the car seems to have a hard time revving so i took it off after the precat and it revvs alot smoother and only after taking the stock exhaust off the 3800rpm hesitation is gone???? But anyways wat do yall think is happening here, i have checked and rechecked for everthing i can think of. Also i put in an autometer boost gauge and before i took off all the exhaust it was boosting like 6 psi, and after i took off the exhaust i didnt gun it cause i knew it would be too much boost, but wat do yall think the deal is???? I need to kno cause i dont play with fire, and if i cant resolve this i will sell the car!!!!

Help me out please and also sry for the long post i just like to be informative......

the fire is probably from the pulsation damener leaking fuel onto the exhaust. (common problem)

fuel would get all the way from the middle of the engine all the way to the exhaust? and like i said if it was gas the bitch would flame up hard right? it was more like oil or some laying on the exhaust, gas explodes, and the PD looks good when i had it out...

Gas fumes explode. Liquid gas burns.

And yes, the fuel from the PD does make it's way to the exhaust. I'm not saying that's the problem... just that it could be.

Its kinda hard to help with out detailed descriptions of where this fire was, was there actaully a buring flame you saw or was it glowing red hot? or was it just smoking and oil cooking on the turbo, well since you said you took of the precat and it ran better maybe it was badly clogged and needed replacement maybe a the cat was glowing and caused the fire

thats what i was thinking, clogged up cat as for the fire could have been oil on the exhaust. who knows.

Ok, i know this is probably way down in the list but i was wondering if you changed the rubber o-rings for the injectors when you had them cleaned? That is if it wasnt the fuel rail pulsation damper that caused the fire.
