Cleaned all my air ducts today.

They were all dusty and gooey from my leaking heater core. I went and picked up some nice scrubbing materials and just pulled all the ducts out of the car, since I have my dashboard anyway. "I highly reccomend this mod." It seems that a lot of my old eighties car smell was in cracked foam and residue in the ducts blowing on my face and all over my car. I cleaned the blower fan and motor too. Now air that comes through the ducts smells crisp and clean.

Yeah, if you have that musty smell, or a funky smell when you turn off the air conditioner, nothing beats cleaning them out.

Betcha you can save a couple pounds, just removing all the dust and dirt in them.

You bet. I bought one of those gay poofy pink things for dusting and shoved it up there. Then I soaked in hot water (the ducts almost melted) and scrubbed with some heavy sponges. Totally dismantled the whole thing. Wonder if there's any kind of cleaning thing to put in there to keep them clean.
