Cigarette Lighter not working in 90 Vert?
I tried to use my radar detector in my Vert, and the cigarette lighter plug doesn't work. I don't think I have ever tried to use it in the 2 years I have had the car, so I don't know how long it has been since it has worked. Is there a fuse? Where is it? My dome light is also not working (but it could be just burned out, because it used to work).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Maybe a simple contacts are bad?? Whenever there's a problem, check the easy ones first. The housing is ground and the center is your 12V.
If you have a meter which we all should , stab the probe and check if you get 12V then go from there.

The cig fuse enables the power mirrors, A/C and clock. If the door lights don't work, check the switch at the door. The ground (housing) can get corroded and rusted after years of use. All it is is a philips screw holding it. Sand the housing and spray some water repellent and put it back in . It should work.

Quick Update:
Well, today I had some time to fix the problem. I popped off the plastic piece on the passenger side of the center console only to find a big metal bar. I decided to just try to pop out the cigarette lighter assembly with a flat-head screwdriver, and it popped out fairly easily. It came out with no connector attached. I fished my fingers around, got some needlenose pliers, pulled out the wires, and plugged it back in. Now everything works fine. I moved my Valentine One into the FC while the FD is in the body shop.
Thanks for the help!
