chrome spraypaint on stock wheels?

chrome spraypaint on stock wheels?

ricey or no? BEcasue my stock wheels have that irritating corrosion on em, black spots and white corrosion. I've seen black spraypainted, but i was thinking a good chrome with a hard clearcoat. Whadya guys thing?

Well... Crome spray tends to look nothing like chrome. Go to a muffler shop and get it chromed. that will fix it

Well I got my pals compuer case chromed for about $50(its so bling) ... So a shot in the dark guess is about $200.

but i'm no chromologist.. Just call up your local muffler shop. see what they say

Chrome on aluminum = high maintenance.
You think you got corrosion now? See what about 3 weeks worth of brake dust does..

Powder coat 'em. You can pick any color you want and it's tough stuff. Look in your phone book...there should be someone who does it in there and it's not as expensive as chroming.

Yeah, powdercoating is great, I know a lot of ppl that did this to there motorcycle wheels, and frames, it is realyl tuff stuff.

a less expensive way to make stock rims and rusted metal look good is to use a cast paint on it and a spray can gun. It looks brand new, and it makes your engine looks mean as hell. did it with my last vehicle.
