Question Chips, Modules for boost

Hello All:

I'm new to the forum here. I've been an E-Bay fan lately and am wondering how to boost power for my 1988 GXL, RX7. I bought two performance mufflers and noticed the boost right away. Now with that little mod, I'm curious about the modules and chips you can buy for under 20 bucks. Can anyone give me some advice as I don't want to wreck my engine (lots of miles on it anyway)?

Personally, I wouldn't trust any chip for less than $20 to be safe, or even functional for that matter.

Don't even consider them! If they have any effect it'll be a negative one. Making power is about improving airflow. Concentrate on that.
