Checking compression

Before I remove the engine from my 88 fc conv. aka (the donor car) I would like to check the compression...I bought the car not running, but have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter. drained the fuel tank and added fresh fuel and changed the oil and filter...engine runs good at all RPM ranges...oil pressure approx 30-40@idle...I am not a rookie at compression testing, (piston engines only) and would like the RX7 club members procedure on the subject...warm engine or cold? Throttle opened or closed? All plugs removed? Just want to have accurate reults...

Warm engine, throttle open, and leave the 2nd plug in or you'll get no result. Remove the schraeder valve from the tester so you can watch the pulses. 3 even pulses at 90+ psi is what you want.
