i wanted to test my throttle sensor today, but when i looked in the fsm for all the specs, it said i need to test it with a checker lamp. do i really need this or is there a way around it? does anyone know where i can find one? any help is appreciated.

 

You can make one for a few dollars, with a couple of things from the parts store or radio shack.

Its the same thing as the code tester described half way down this page.
