well I just finished my break in and I am at like 95-ish psi with suspect piston compression tester. my motor might suck I don't know. floods when hot. starts when warm. injectors are so dirty that the oil contaminates with fuel in 400 miles. I change it often. performance is inconsistant but sometimes it pulls like a beast! I am gonna send the injectors off to have them fixed. I should have bought a manifold for a holley along time ago.

hey, just read this page. DO NOT RUN THE WRONG IMPEDENCE INJECTORS ON AN ENGINE. This is very important. I did this with out knowing it for the longest time. then that motor carborized and broke a side seal. It NEVER idled right, NEVER ran right, and had NO power. another thing guys, this has been said before, I'll restate. I would not worry about compression unless you really know what you are doing when building a motor and you are worried about every last horsepower. If the car starts, then you are okay, horsepower is going to very and little things like rotors with apex seal grooves that are slightly out of spec and nasty spots in used housings are going to affect compression on used motors. I think it is probably VERY hard to get 120+ psi from an old motor with rebuild anyway. I think the norm is probably around 100 psi. Now, that said, someday when I am rich, and I build a fully blown periphrial port race motor with coated rotors, alu side housings, fresh everything, custom fuel injection with infinately veryiable length runners all controlled by digital 4D 64 bit ATI enhanced pentium 8 EVERYTHING, swing seals, FD this and that, all with Yamamoto's blessings, I'll be damned if I don't get exactly 130 psi on both rotors 350 horsepower.

Are you doing them under the same conditions?
Remove both trailing plugs?
Compression check on one trailing?
Throttle all the way open?
Engine warmed up?

UPDATE: hey biatches!! lol... anyways I got the new wiring all plugged in, but since i have good luck i broke the little connector on the ACV?? that thing connected to the lower intake manifold? how bad is this? will the car run like crap again or do i have to replace it or not worry about it? Like i said my 5th and 6th port thingys were blocked by the guy who did the rebuild. BEsides that i cant wait to get home and fire her up, i had to leave my poor car before i could sinc ei have school until 4pm. Anyways help me out and thanx !!
