CHECK OUT my tail light mod..
Fooling around what do you think? I like it, It is model car tint spray, it is very transparent and the lights shine through great, just like the 3rd gen lights... nice cheap alternitive to $200-300 s5 tails....
sorry i couldn't shrink it for some reason.

I did that on a 1st gen, exept I painted from the inside (the proper way to do it, makes ithe finish look more OEM) and instead of painting the whole things, I put some spray can lids on the lenses to mask off some untinted circles in the lights- just like the s5 ones, looked very nice! Don't have a pic though

testors transparent black paint? thats what i used on my Ford Escape
works well, i did something like 20 coats of it on my escape, and 3 coats of clearcoat... btw, did you use clearcoat? if not it may slowly flake off and look messed up, i had to learn that the hard way on my 3rd brake light on my escape
email me the pic and I will host it up for you.. trainwreck@wreckedyouth.com
