Check out my custom non popping headlight conversion!!

I am happy with the results! I expect flames for my taillight conversion, but now that its done I love them. They IMO make the car look much less dated. Whatcha think?

BTW Boost Motorsport is the name of my Speed/fab shop. The conversion cost a total of about 50$ versus a 1K+$ kit Plus Ill never see another rex like it!

As much as I hate to say it, I somewhat like the way the taillights look in an FC. They just fit the body style, but look more modern than the S4 taillights. I would still rather have S5 round tails though. The light kit looks pretty sweet, but I dont really like the rest of the body.

On the lights, what did you do with the hood along the front edge? Does it follow the curve along the front in the middle, it does it change for the lights? I wanted to do something with using 3KGT or Integra headlights in a cf surround.

as much as i hate to admit it, the taillights don't look bad, the hood pins look awkward in there "mid center" placement, the hoodscoop looks snarling. Nice job on interior but steering wheel could look a little less baggy, great job on headlights. And nice paint, greens my favorite color (white for cars)
Nice car, definately original

And your gauges are creepy ha ha, nice but don't look too visible, you have any sort of backlighting?
They would look pretty pimp if you got some UV responsive paint for the gauges and had a small blacklight to shine on it.

10$-body filler

The tails look ok, but I have to say once again that I have always hated that headlight style. It just looks kludged together no matter what front bumper it is, every one I've seen with the lights like that...

edit: ahhh gross I just noticed there is a little stream of puke out the smiley's nose!

I love your headlights! That is the only picture of non-pop-up lights conversion i've seen on any car at all (rx-7 or not) that I like better than stock pop ups!

The tailights are also really nice, a vast improvement over pre-89 taillights.

Dude, what was going through your mind when you did all that?

Project RX-7... what exactly makes it "ricey" ???

All of his mods serve a purpose. He has nothing there that is to "make it look faster than it really is" or anything like that. I don't see any rice on that car. Ricing is a bunch of bullshit anyway.. The way I see it, if you like it... do it.

I don't like the headlights...it makes the car look like a late 80's camero, with the headlights tucked under the hood. And the taillights, man, I think you should have left those alone, or at least not steal them from an integra. I don't like it at all.

I will be brutally honest.

Your car is ugly. I've seen people do ugly things to RX-7s before, but I think yours is by far the ugliest.

From your hideous steering wheel cover, to your ugly gauges, your crappy hood scoop and the awful Integra lights, and the side skirts from a Cavalier.

The headlights actually aren't that bad, except it doesn't appear to be very clean where the hood meets up on the passenger side.

While you may think you are original or a trend setter, I just think you have horribly bad taste.

i have to say that i dont like all the white on the interior (thats just my opinion) i like the integra tails but i would never do that to my car. but i really dont like the hood, as it was stated before, it looks very domestic, like off a firebird or something. but i do have to give you props for having motivation, i have had my car for about 6 months and have only added an intake(im a real bad procrastinator)
