This is what happens when I can't find a tii hood + don't want to pay $90+ for an STI hood scoop.

Better yet leave it alone! It looked great stock. Then again we are talking about an S5 that has been lowered even though it's on stock rims (which is wrong) with high profile rubber pontoons for tires, the rear wing removed, and some weird *** looking mirrors so I guess it all fits. Oh yeah, put the flash to pass lenses back in. It looks better that way.

Alright just to explain the whole thing here


I just did a turbo swap. There was a drive that I really wanted to go on right as I finished putting the motor in but I couldn't find a turbo hood. So with some sheet aluminum rivets and a cutting wheel I did that. The hood is steel and I'll be going with a v mount here soon so this hood will get scrapped.


As far as the mirrors go some guy hit my stock ones so I decided to go with these RE Amemiya ones. Paint will come after the v mount and tune.

I also have bbs rims too but with stickier tires on them too. The stock are just for dding.

 

Oh my god! A legit reason for all of this.

The mirrors only suck because they aren't the same color as the entire car. I'm sure nobody would complain otherwise.

Hood Scoop manufacturing is fun though.Me and My Buddy went through his yard one day,looking for Stuff.We saw a Cowling for a Lawnmower,that incidentally looked like a Scoop..
Next thing you know,he has it Plopped on top of his Son's Sunbird!..and it is Still on!!,as a scoop!.
People Say,:hey,where'd ya get the neat lookin scoop!..(if they only knew)..

 

Hey I'll get rid of it if someone gives me a tii hood

 

If it wasn't soo "Boxy" lookin I wouldn't mind, needs like a 60 degree angle on both sides and for the back side of the scoop to be flush with the hood. Looks alot better than some of the **** i've seen before.

 

Anybody else have problems with birds swooping down at you when driving on the highway...Billy Mays should try and sell something like this..."It works so well it will suck the life out of anything it comes near it, Bird Chipper. LOL

 

Ummm.... he's kinda dead.
