Arrow Check This Out!!!!"add coolant" sign buzz

Hello all, as some of you know I have been having some minor difficulties with the water level sensor not working so i've had to drive for weeks with the constant buzzing.....I finally found a new sensor at a junk jard for 10 bucks. I thought I was going to finally enjoy some quiet. Well, after i installed the sensor i got in my beast and fired her up and as i expected no buzzing. I thought my troubles were over. Turns out they were just starting. After bout 1 min the damn buzzer went off again. Heres the wierd thing, when its buzzing i'll give it some gas (in nuetral) and it stops, then after about 10 seconds it buzzes again. I'm clueless to what is making that "add coolant" sign buzz. I have enough coolant and I have a brand spankin new sensor. WTF Help me out guys!!!!!!

bubbles in the coolant. Bleed the coolant properlly, not just making sure there is enough by looking.

basically giving gas is causing coolant to pile up in the radiator where youre missing that headroom. change your radiator cap and inspect overflow tank tubing while your at it.

re-bleed.

That sensor rarely fails.
If anything, the wire breaks off of the top of the sensor.

Fix the coolant systems leaks and stop blaming the sensor.

I don't find it that funny... It's not like it's a hard problem to fix.

That's not smart. The low-coolant buzzer has saved me and many others when the notorious heater hose has blown. The same buzzer also serves as a low oil buzzer.

n00b

now when you REALLY need the buzzer to tell you something is wrong....it wont be there. My dad or uncle will prolly see you on the side of the road with an oveaheated engine. Uncle lives there and dad frequents there on his bike.
