Formula SAE rocks. I wish I could compete. I always check out the cars and who won. Good Luck!

What's that big 'H' on the front of the car? That looks like a shitload of fun...I should have joined SAE.

I was at an autocross in Dallas/Ft. Worth a few seeks ago, and they had a whole bunch of those out there. They said it was the largest gathering of Formula SAE's ever. College guys came from all over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and even farther away like Ohio to bring their project cars out. They were pretty cool. They were all powered by motorcycle engines, but I'm not sure of the exact specifications. They all looked completely different since they are built from scratch.

It was pretty funny, because a lot of these engineering students couldn't drive at all. When I was course working, they kept spinning out right by me and plowing through cones.

Here are the results of that autocross.

Go down to where it says "A Modified" and those are all of them.
If you go down to where it says "E Stock", that was me in second place.

Here's a guy from Ohio that drove all the way to Texas to autocross in their SAE.
