I drive an 85 SE that is always babied. My bro-in-law just bought an mint 87 Sport model from the original senior owner for a great price. Had quite a hesitation from 5-7g rpm. I was thinking cats plugged, but told him fuel filter looked old, should change. We just changed it, oil change, coolant flush. WOW!!!!

That filter was complely plugged from being driven so little in last 7 years. Car pulls so strongly now. Message being, keep up the maintenance and rev hard!

 

i should try and change mine see if it makes a difference
