Yeah, not bad considering the engine is 1/10th that price.

you can get that kinda power out of a 13b fairly easily and keep it relitivly reliable. so 35k is outragous in my opinion.

It's a shame that he probably has 35,000 invested and he will not see anywhere near that. It just doesn't make sense to build a car like that and then sell it. The only way the 20B swap works out; is if you plan on keeping the car for a good long time. And his lil plan on making it more rare by switching to right hand drive will probably come back and bite him in the *** too. It does seem like a nice car with alot of goodies; but 35k? I know that a 20B swap is not easy and not cheap, but I had no idea it would effect your judgement.

For only $12,000 USD more you can get the convertable version.
$47,000!

3 rotor conversions just don't make sense for cost....

All you **** hammered the geocities site ... now the bandwidth limit has been hit. I know Chito's car, it's very well sorted. It's not worth $35K however. But I could see paying $25K for it.

Today, Super Street magazine is going to shoot some pics and make an article about his car. So stay tuned.

There was only one time we went to the track at LACR, Palmdale, CA. The best that he did was 13.15 @ 123 mph. This was done in slicks (small ones). Before anyone of y'all attack him on this, he doesn't know how to drag race. Since he doesn't know how to launch it the proper way, he just let off at 1st and 2nd gear like normal (like driving Ms. Daisy) and punch it at third.

He's really carefull driving it. He spent around $60K on it and he doesn't want to risk anything. I know $35K is very steep. I told him just to keep the car but he needs the money to finish his other projects.

I sure hope his other projects don’t need that money anytime soon!
That 20B 'vert has been for sale at that price for ages. You’d think people would learn...

I don't know why he would want to spend all that time and money on the car and go around and sell it, only to lose money (and a 20B car). Doesn't make any sense to me either.

Chito's 20B

Ohh man!..that's Chito's 87TII well 20B!..its a nice car..before you flame on the asking price i think you have to see it to believe. ITs very clean and he hardly drives it!..If i have all the cash i think i would have bought it long time ago but that's only i have the $$ ..Anyway's he started the car for me and it sounded so mean..more like a V8!..I wanted to ask him to take me for a ride but didnt want to be turned down..My rotary mech friend rode on it once and he said its so freaking fast.. He felt weird being on the wrong side of the car!..hahaha Anyway's i think its the monst beatiful and fastest FC's i have ever seen..He is very known to import show offs..Chito also race cars (road racing). Last time i went to his place he was working on a toyota starlet...

Dyno numbers show 457 rwhp max. :-\

Thats good, but not 35k good.

Its a nice car for sure , but $35k is crazy. A 10AE with 5000 miles on it only got 10k

I haven't seen any flames yet, just expressions of disbelief that he expects to get that sort of money. An RX-7 is only of value to someone who likes RX-7’s. It is nor rare or collectible. The fact that it’s clean and rarely driven might be the difference between a $4K and a $6K car, but its good condition and a 500hp 20B don’t come close to justifying $35K. It’s always tragic to pour lots of money into a project and get nothing back, but unfortunately that’s just how it is in the real world.
