for some reason ive noticed that my check engine light comes on at about 7200 rpm in my gtus. it doesnt come on at any other time at all it just comes on at about 7200rpm til i shift and then itll come back on again once it hits about 7200rpm. does anyone else have this problem or does anyone know what might be causing this?? any help would be greatful thanks guys.

 

might be the boost/pressure sensor- they tend to freak out & throw a code if you're exhaust/ intake is modified...at least, mine does...

 

^^ ditto, mine has relaxed the last couple days though...

 

check your codes and find out why it's going off....

i have the same problem, but mine comes on right around 8k, usually 7800-8000 it comes on and goes off after a second or two whether or not i let off the throttle. but it didn't throw any codes when i checked either..
