check engine light on

my check engine light came on 2day and i searched the forum and found how 2 pull up the codes but it won't seem to work. i ground the green connecter like it says and it doesn't blink like it says. i got a 91 fc n/a. at higher rpms it just takes forever to get to redline. i think it Ignition but not positive. anyone have ideas.

did you check the negine? j/k I no nothing about rotary engines. Cept the basics. If the engine isn't there, then you know the problem. Otherwise ask someone smarter. We'll hope they see this thread.

I experienced almost the same thing today coming home. While driving at about 53mphs, at about 3100, my check engine light came on. Once I let off the gas, after it dropped passed 3k, it went off. This happens every now and then.
