check engine light

I have this issue where after its warmed up the check engine light comes on. But it goes away when im om throttle and when i let off it turns on again. Anyone ever have this issue? Ill try to read the codes later when i get home. Just checking if anyone has ever had the same thing happen to them. Would it be because i unplugged the idle control? it wasnt working and kept making the rpms shoot up and not go down.

You won't really know until you check the code. If you have an item unplugged it should always throw a code. You could also have an issue w/the TPS or Oxygen sensor.

YOu won't know until you check for codes. If you unplug a sensor it should always throw a code. Or it could be the TPS, Oxygen sensor or Feedback system.

you won't really know until you check for codes. most likely to be a TPS, but that is just a WAG

Problems with the switching solenoid or the ACV can cause that.

Not having the BAC valve plugged in will definitely cause that.

As others have stated, check the code(s).
