Cheapest clutch kit for FC...

I have an 88 N/A and I am replacing the master and slave clutch cylinders as well as the clutch, throw out and release bearings.

I am looking for the cheapest clutch kit available b/c I am planning on some major engine work next winter, just need something that will last this summer.

I don't go to the drag strip or anything like that. Normal driving, somewhat spirited.

Right now, I am only pushing about 145-150 hp.

What you guys got?

Call around local parts store chains, they usually have cheap kits.

If you're just going to replace the entire clutch system in the summer, just replace the clutch disk, and use your existing pressure plate.

I am replacing the whole clutch assembly next weekend (if I have the clutch by then obviously) and then will be driving the car for the next year (10k-15k miles) before winter 06.

The clutch has well over 70k miles on. I bought the car with 129k and drove it to 192k miles. The clutch that is in there is the same one that I bought with the car at 129k. I know it is pretty worn....I figure while I am in there, throw a cheap clutch in for one summer. When I decide definitely what I am going to do to the engine and driveline, I will look into a better clutch then.

I checked ebay and there is a kit for $95-99 on there with $18 shipping. I think I found my winner

The Bonez Standard performance clutch includes clutch alignment tool friction disk and pressure plate. Throwout bearing to I think.

210$ 10% more holding pressure then stock
