Talking Cheap HKS Steering Wheel - Any Good?

So, yeah, I'm sick of the stock steering wheel in my 7... it belongs on a yacht or an Abrams or something and I was looking at getting a Momo Jet steering wheel (350mm). But I just saw this HKS steering wheel for something like 30 dollars (EDIT: Correction - 19 dollars, buy it now, 18 shipping, so more like 40 but still) with shipping - buy it now.

My question is, what's wrong with it? Will it fit my car? Will it break when I turn it? Why so cheap?

What steering wheel would you recommend?

Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...03242888QQrdZ1

Thanks,

the reason its so cheap is because its not really HKS, its an generic e-bay wheel with HKS logo on it.

Hmmmm... really? Isn't that... illegal? False advertising?

Truth is, though, I don't care what brand it is as long as it's smaller than stock and feels good around the curves.

illegal yes, but they do it all the time on e-bay. its much harder to catch someone whoes product its made out of the country and sold over the internet. besides cops have better thinks to do like give speeding tickets.

Yeah, definitely a fake. I bet you could find the exact wheel with a Momo logo on it... Or Sparco. Super generic. However, you might like it. It's probably not leather though--so it might feel cheap and plastic'y.

Of course it's fake. HKS doesn't make steering wheels.

HKS and cheap do not ever go together, it is a law of physics much like how water and oil do not mix.

Nardi's are nice, I personally like MOMO's and some SPARCO's. just make sure you by an actual wheel and not a knockoff and you will be pleased.

LOL So true.
People on Ebay slap names of tuners popular with ricers on generic products all the time. There was a guy a while back looking at a "mazdaspeed" racing bucket. When I looked through his store, there was another identical one with a Nismo logo, and another with a TRD logo.

I say find a non-leather steering wheel. I have one in my SE and love it. I can't see how I would ever replace it.
