Cheap GXL, go for it?

1988 Mazda RX7 GXL.
Power windows, Power mirrors, power sunroof.
Electronic adjustable suspension.
2+2 Grey interior
138k Auto (my daily driver)
ABS- Cruise Control.
Newer tires.

Interior is nearly perfect, minus a little bit of cleaned needed to be. It was owned by a chick, who took exclent care of the whole car. Theres only one damage point, and the clear coats peeling. Its been sitting 1 year. Other then a broken attena/ missing stereo- it was parked with everything working .
$400 with tax.

Should I get it? .

I would only get it if you plan on putting a 5 speed in it.

Are you sure that it is a '88? The steering wheel looks like what was used on the '87. I have a '88 GXL with a 3 spoke steering wheel. I personally would buy it just for the parts alone.

I figure I can buy it, get it running, fix the body damage and sell it to a friend who just wrecked his car for cheap.

Either that, drive it myself, or if it does not run- part it out for my money back.

Bet ya 20 bucks the adjustable susp. isn't working anymore. =p

I'd buy it for part as I have the exact same car but mines a 2 seater manual.

Cheap enough to get your money back out in parts whether it runs or not. Buy it.

Just an observation: are the rims rotating the correct direction?

Buy it. expecially if you can get it running before the purchase.

I have the space, yes the rims are NOT messed up, everything is intact (minus a tiny crack on the radio surround)- interior is perfect-

All I need is a friend with a truck! Mines getting the suspension redone and I have to go get this asap.
