Cheap Fix?

My 89 RX7 Convertible has only 50KM. I have just removed the rear shock absorbers because the lower bushings have compressed and are occasionally making metal-to-metal noises. The car sitting for long periods and eighteen years have compressed the tops of the lower shock bushings.
All the upper mounts/bushings are in good shape. I checked the shocks and they are still good. My question is; has anyone ever replaced the lower shock bushings? I know they are suppose to be non replaceable. The large sleeved center hole in the bushing may make a replacement impossible to find. I will give it a shot. Comments? (Don’t call me a cheap bastard).

idk, call some parts stores and see if you can get that part, if not, try a dealer. if that fails, junkyard or replace a larger part that would include the bushings. Sorry I can't help on the specifics though.
