Charge light with parking brake?

In my '86 base model. You pull the parking brake on the charge light comes on and the idle becomes rough. Sometimes if you open the door...the door light comes on and the charge light comes on. What is going on here? Resolder ecu sort of thing?

You guys have some of the WIERDEST problems. Sorry man, I've never heard of this problem. Good luck though.

Are your meter fuse and room fuses in good condition. Sounds like one of them might be blown.

If they are both good the idiot light cluster may need re-soldering.
