charcoal can runs where?

Alright, I just got the upperintakeand tb on my car and I'm seeing the charcoal canister is running over to the driver's side of the car and has a 1 ft hose run off of it and goes to nothing. My question is, does this line go into the UIM? If so, can I use either of the large ports on the top of the UIM?

If it is the 1 foot hose off the bottom of the canister, it's suppose to go nowhere.

Both hoses from the top connect to the emission pipes that run along the firewall.

It's not off the bottom of the can. It comes out of the top and if you're looking at your car its the larger pipe that runs along the firewall, then I have a 1ft hose coming off the larger pipe on the firewall. So the larger pipe is also known as the emissions pipe correct? So where does the larger emissions pipe connect to??

I believe it goes to the drivers side of the motor.

There is a nipple (metal) just behind the oil filler tube that the hose attaches to. It is hard to see. That was one of my problems with my rebuild install, trying to find were the canister hose went. I checked my old motor and saw it. Then removed my oil filler tube to attach the hose.

So it runs directly into the block? Nice, I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

It's right under the oil filler. On the middle side housing.
