Changing transmission fluid

Get people, need help changing my transmission fluid. From what I've read it isn't real easy. Can someone please tell me an easy way and specifically how to do it? Thanks!

google "rx7 fsm" for the factory service manual...

it's the very first thing in the transmission section. You'll need a pump to pump the oil up into the transmission. They're sold at auto parts stores.

I changed mine without a pump. All you need is a good length of tubing and a funnel. Put a drain pan under the tranny. Take out the fill plug from the side FIRST. Then the drain plug on the bottom and let the old fluid drain out. Get your long flexible tube, run it down through the engine bay and into the fill plug on the side of the transmission. Attach funnel, fill with new fluid until it flows over.

Assuming you're talking manual transmission of course. I spent a premium on Royal Purple 75W90, but it made a night and day difference. No more crunchy shifting, glides nice and smooth.
