Changing Seats Around Question
Hey Gang,
I have two RXs in my driveway. I love parts of both, and have a question about combining stuff.
I really love to drive the TII for the power and the fun of zipping around the Denver traffic.
I recently bought an '88 FC and had the engine promptly give out. (overheated *sheesh*)
Anyway, I love the '88 for it's Leather interior, factory CD and - most importantly - the 2+2 jump seat; it can get a little sluggish in the higher altitudes of my neighborhood, so the TII if a bit more fun to drive.
My question: can the jump seat be moved to the TII (1987 model)? At first, I didn't think so. But today I read a thread which seemed to imply that the floor with the storage bins in the TII can come out and the seats can go in.
If I could move the good stuff out of the '88 and into the TII (which doesn't have the body damage of the '88) I could have a near-perfect car for me.
Whadya think?

I think that the jump seats can be switched. I mean that they are both s4 and the floor panel was the same for all years and models. It's just that some either had a floor, some bins or the jump seats.

Okay, cool. I take it, then that there is a panel where the bins are which comes out? I would expect that fastners are under the carpet.
Is Skold's T2 2+2 factory, or did he put the seats in?
