changing bulbs in gauge cluster?

has anyone ever put red or anyother color bulbs in the gauge cluster and if so how did it look . i'm thinking of putting alll red bullbs in . would it make the tach,speedo, temp ,etc. numbers red?

the numbers are orange with a clear light shining on them
I dont think it atter what colour the bulbs are, the clusters still gonna look oj

i don't think dark red will show up against the black background. nice idea though. maybe you could scrape the orange off and make them clear that would be wicked sick.

Only problem is, all the other lights outside of the cluster are orange too... You could probably make it work though. It'd just take a long time for a relatively 'little' mod. It would look awesome though.

I have the silver-faced, blue and red reverse glow gauges in my TII and it looks great. Since there's red on the display, it kind of blends in with the rest of the little dark orange lights and looks pretty shweeet.

well most of my dash lights dont work except for the gauge cluster really so i'm going to give it a try i already started . you just got to scrao the orange off , the tricky part is doing it with out messing up the black parts . going to order a 10 pack of red bulbs on ebay for right know . and erikssevemn god its hard to find that damn s13 lip i've been looking ever where even on the 240 forums for-sale section
