Changing / Adding Rev Limit??

Is there a way to add or change the rev limit temporarily on the engine for break-in? I'm frankly terrified that I'll accidentally over-rev it while breaking mine in (I live in a VERY hilly place and am getting a brand new clutch at the same time)... I want to break my baby in right, which means (after letting her idle all day, adjusting stuff, making sure things are good) getting to the nearest highway, running her 500 miles or so (Atlanta has a loop around it that should be just perfect) and an oil change, followed by another 1500 miles of careful city/highway driving and of course another oil change. Its getting to and from the highway I'm worried about - my area is quite hilly and with the new clutch to worry about as well, if there's an easy way to rev-limit the engine, I'd be up for it. If not, just say so and I'll do my best by her.

I will have a switchable rev switch available next month, that could be used for that very thing. I suppose you could use the Summit RPM switch and a relay until then.

But really if you follow Mazda's recommendations, you want to use the whole useable RPM range
