Changed my alternator now Fuel pump isn't coming on/car issn't starting

87 rx7 FC Turbo swap with LT10C microteach ecu
Changed my alternator a while back and after i did the fuel pump wouldn't prime and the car would crank but not start.
Today I found out that the connector in the back of the alternator was ripped out and wires cut when i took the old one out... whoops.....
I thought that was the problem and I believe i put the wired back in there original places, though i did have to use an new connector (I THINK the top wire in Black with white stripe and the bottom is white with black, but correct me if im wrong)
hooked everything back up and thought that would fix the problem, but no.....
I've had my fuel pump relay checked. Its fine. Main relay is ok too but is not turning on when I turn the key.
I assume the next thing is I have to look for a ground that may be causing the issue? any advice is appreciated, my wiring expert was supposed to come by my place and help me with this but he's held up in his shop and would really like this car running sooner rather than later

Fortunately for you, we don't need an "expert" for such a simple system. Do you know about the FSM (factory service manual) and how to trace basic electrical circuits?
You say the main relay is not activating, but do you know why? Are you stating this based of the lack of "click" when the coil energizes, or have you actually confirmed this with a DMM?
