Changed clutch, still wont shift

I changed my clutch, flwheel and bearings since my car wouldnt shift into gear while running, and its still having this problem. The slave cylinder is operating as it should I believe. What else can it be?

So it goes into gear when its not running? When your car is running, if you pump the clutch a bit, will it go into gear?

Does the shifter come out of neutral while running? And what does your clutch feel like when its running, does is stick?

It could be 1 of 2 things... Pilot bearing, or Slave cylinder. Try bleeding your slave and make sure you replaced the pilot bearing and that its not bound.

Well, I replaced both t/o bearing and pilot bearing, the clutch feels as easy to push in as stock, but its a ACT Street/Strip. The shifter will come out of neutral, but not go into any gears.

Bleed your Slave cylinder real quick... Check your Clucth master cylinder for leaks. Once you bleed the system, your pedal should stiffen up, if it doesn't...you have a leak somewhere in the system or your master cylinder sucks =o)

Did you follow the instructions on how to adjust the rod at the pedal assembly going into the master cylinder?

ACT 9.5lb, and my car was sitting and all of the sudden wouldnt move under its own power, so I thought the TO bearing or pp was suspect

has the car ran on the flywheel you have? When you torqued down the PP, were the splines FLAT?

Yes, the splines are flat, I ensured that they were. The car is running with the flywheel in. I tried bleeding the clutch today, and it still has the same problem. If I start the car in gear though, I can actually move it though.. Weird.

Same exact thing happened to me when I installed my ACT. It doesn't come with instructions that say to adjust the pedal, but its just a feel thing

Sorry about that. We package intstructions and stickers with every pressure plate, but they are commonly taken out and misplaced by retailers. You can download them at our suport section of our website at http://www.advancedclutch.com/support/index.asp. They are pretty generic but may help give you a better understanding.
