Center console parts?

It looks like someone previously did a bad stereo install (or removal) and my upper center console is cracked all the way down to and including the area around the ashtray.

I see you can get some of these parts from mazdatrix (lots of bucks!) but I didn't see the lower part near the ashtray available.

The New Orleans area salvage yards that I have checked have been scavanged already.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The S5 setup is SOOOO NICE, i've got an S4 with the brittle old 'hard' plastic, no matter how well you take care of them they crack, the S5 is a rubber composite material, it last so much longer and has a better overall design, granted a bit pricy, but check your local scrap yards and see what you find. Word of advice, the S5 may look a little funny if you dont install the shifter surround to compliment it.

"I've only got the s5 radio surround. Doesnt quite match properly"

But who gives a damn!" lol

If you have an S4 and want the S5 surround you NEED to have the S5 shifter surround ALSO. Otherwise it would not match up properly.

If you can't find one at a yard or online your last resort is mazdatrix.

Mine is an 87 GXL.

It started pouring down rain on on the way to the salvage yards today. Mission scrubbed.

I found some more online plastic a little cheaper at :

Fel is short for my Quake3 name "Felonious".
