I don't understand these types of threads. There are all sorts of cars in movies and tv shows. Nothing special...

The cars are every bit as important as the extras that are hired to be background filler. But, to say that I saw "x" car in this movie/tv show, doesn't make sense to me...

 

Way to ruin the fun Dom, whats it matter? Its just nice seeing your car in a movie and its fun to point it out. Anyways, I think there was one in one of the early lethal weapon movies, i forget which one it was, but roger is making him a sandwich, and he goes back by those porto potties, and I think theres one there, but i'm not that familiar with the car yet so it might have been something else.

 

Sorry. I just stated my opinion regarding pointing out cars in movies/tv shows... (in which case, I don't understand how pointing out cars, has anything to do w/ the technical section.)

there's a 10AE that looks suspiciously like mine in "when car clubs go bad" but since it hasn't been released yet nobody knows that but me...

 

i was watching some soft **** on hoe-time (or skinemax) with my wife and i spotted a white s5 convert that the main character was driving. it was a movie about some models on the beach. lots of big breastessess!!!!

Recently I saw some softcore **** on my local network where the lead guy was driving a black S5 vert. It was in the movie quite often. I have no idea of the title though.

 

Surprised nobody mentioned the red s4 coupe that was involved in that california bank shootout a few years ago, where the guys had full body armor and ak47's, in a few scenes you can see the cops hiding behind it. Poor 7

 

There was a gold gxl in Seinfeld the other day parked outside his building.

 

Office Space has a red 3rd gen in the parking lot, right next to Lumbergh's Porsche.

Italian Job has a grey S4 in it. It is at the part where the armored trucks are driving through traffic and Napster is turning on and off the traffic lights to direct the truck. The S4 is in 4 or 5 aerial shots that are all supposed to take place at different intersections! Oops! Guess they didn't expect someone to recognize one of the cars

 

Bringin the thread back from god knows where... In reference to the above post, its a gold or brown S4, along with a silver FB in the same shot... im pretty sure its some sort of RX7 propaganda film.

Thanks for the pic. I was going to mention that you see a 1st gen and a 2nd gen in the same scene! I can't think of any other movie that does that...

If you watch the special features on the Italian Job, you also see the same silver 1st gen right next to the armored car when it drops through the ground!

Somebody in the props department must like RX-7s!

 

And what was the name of that movie where a guy broke the tail lense on a white 88 vert, then broke the bulb, and then stuck the wiring in the gas tank so it would spark & blow up the car, but the guy noticed it before he started the car up.?. I think it was in the late 80's with Judd Nelson.?.

 

there's one in the parking lot in malibu's most wanted when the main character robs the asian mart

 

i think in that awful movie the skulls that there is a s5 in the big lot of cars that the members of the cult get...only saw it once though but i remeber wondering if that was a good ole 2nd gen
