These guys are looking for something tried and true. Nothing wrong with either route as long as the owner is happy with it.
had it over a year now and its working same as before, if you get the cheap stuff yes you will have rust issues. thats why i said 'stainless steel'.

Most people don't go the custom route because unlike your lala land internet pricing, in reality it is expensive. Even cheap 304SS stock is about $10-20/foot depending on the diameter and gauge, and then there is the labor, bends, transitions, couplers, hangers, and mufflers. For example, the custom 321SS exhaust for my car was about $1,700, not including the mufflers. Even the crappy custom press-bent 2" ERW catback piping for my TII was still $100.

Wow I didn't realize this thread would spark such interest.

Well I'm definitely not going to get a custom exhaust, it will be expensive and I don't see the point for basic street use. Since there is so much argument between Borla and RB, it seems each has its advantages/disadvantages so I would probably be making a good decision either way. I checked out an rx7 the other day with RB and I must say, they do look very nice. If money wasn't an issue it'd be racing beat for sure but I'll see what my next paycheck looks like.

Usually if you haunt craigslist long enough you'll see a RB catback popup for $300. ^_-
[I've seen really old RB stuff, it holds up amazingly well - the RB tip in my sig. is from a $300 used catback ^_^]

i bought from andy's before when i had my integra. they arent the cheapest and somtimes they lag on shipping. not to mention getting a refund is a pain. i would probably give them like 7 outta 10.

i bought a used custom exhuast with rb mufflers. seems ok so far.

With that exhaust you will likely lose hp with an n/a (stock or street ported). I actually enjoyed the sound (had the GT Spec bolted to RB single outlet + resonator), but the dyno results were abysmal.
