Cas wiring

Ive checked all my usual sources and searched to no avail, most likely using all the wrong words. My 88 vert keeps losing spark which ive traced to the wiring at the CAS near the connector. A little wiggle and she will normally start at least. Im unsure yet if its a break on the cas side of the connector or in the harness itself. My question though is where can I buy a new connector and what type of shielded wire is used? Its patchwork but I need the car to remain movable under its own power for a little while longer. oddly enough I know I dropped signal earlier after starting the car as the tach immediately lost signal but so long as the rpms were up it never stalled. Is it possible to also only effect the trailing side with bad connection?

a connector of just about any type that is sealed can replace the stock connector. weatherpak connectors are the most commonly available at auto parts and hardware stores.

the wiring is a shielded 4 wire bundled loom, i believe the induvidual wires are 16 gauge and the strands stainless(correct me if i'm wrong here).

for a short jumper just about any wiring will do.

for the connector, nope. it is a 25 year old connector and nothing you will find quickly, easily or possibly even at all.

Thanks for the info. I would have thought there was a connector used with haltechs and the like but oh well. Once all the little things are taken care of thats the next project..
