Welcome to the forum Bob. First, you need to brush up on forum etiquette. It's not cool to post into a thread that has nothing to do with your questions. You will get heavily flamed for that by members that have nothing better to do. Start a new thread in an appropriate forum section with the appropriate title and you should get answers along with a little respect.

BUT, before you do that, do some searching and reading. Most questions have been asked over and over and the answers are usually already there. Search terms such as "rats nest", "emissions removal" will turn up some threads that will answer your questions. Try some others as well. If you don't find the answers, then it's time to post.

Again, welcome to the forum. You will find it to be an invaluable source of information and advice on your RX-7. Oh, and read the FAQ at the top of this section.

He never came to us for input before coming to the forum. So he hadn't gotten anyone's input before coming here. I don't blame him either, but the forum is really not the place for us to be helping our customers.
Remind me to go to Mazda tech's first before coming to the 2nd Gen section for help. The car is a Mazda product, thus I'm a Mazda customer.

That's NOT the same situation. In just about every case we've been able to help people get their cars running without ever coming to the forum. We absolutely do NOT want to clutter the forum with our customer support issues, as it's not fair to the people who are building their megasquirts themselves, and need help getting up and running.

Up to you. You're the mod. I guess if you're willing to take all the calls and help people individually, props to you.

Oh, and if you want clutter, do a search for "turbo swap" or "idle problem" in this section.

We really haven't had that many support issues. Every time we have, it's been the same deal; bad wiring in the stock harness causing tach noise. Cleaning up the grounds is usually enough to fix the problem. In this particular case, I think the CAS is broken, but this is the only time I've suspected that.

There's no reason to keep filling the forum with answers to the same questions over and over again, so we try to handle it outside the forum. Your point about clutter when searching for "turbo swap," and "idle problem" is really the same point I was trying to make; having that clutter makes it hard to separate the "signal" from the "noise." That's really the point I was trying to make earlier in response to karack as well.
