CAS to Ignitor

Ok, first gen owner here. There arn't any local second gen's around here so I will ask here.

Looked at the wiring diagrams already but could not specifically find this out; Does the CAS hook to the ignitors in any way? Or do they go through an ECU first, then wire out to the ignitor?

If there were some pictures that would be great as well.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont think I am.

The CAS is merely an input to the ecu that uses it's signal (along with many others) to determine when to fire the coils. I don't think it would have any direct connection to the coils at all.

Ok. I was Trying to figure out if I could use the wiring coming from the CAS as a trigger for a MSD 6A box.

The CAS is based off of a pair of Variable Reluctance sensors.

Does the MSD unit have a VR input?
