Deflood procedures. If you've got dirty injectors, hot starts will be hell. Pull the green 40A "EGI INJ" fuse under the hood, crank it to clear the gas, put the fuse back & start it up.
i do not think the flooding problem is it cause i been trying to unflood it and im pretty sure once i stop smelling gasoline burning from my muffler it mean its unflooded right? the car will still not start it will crank up and do the same thing still >,<
Ok, try this:
- Take the key out of ignition
- Pull out the 40A EGI fuse from the small fuse box mounted on the driver's side suspension well in the engine bay.
- Turn the key to ingnition and crank the engine over for ~30-40 seconds.
- Put the 40A EGI fuse back in to its original position in the fuse box
- Try starting the car as per normal.
That's the general procedure for de-flooding.
I've just replied to your other post that you're having problems with coolant moving into the overflow & not coming back... Flooding & hard-to-start problems are also a tell-tale sign of a blown coolant seal.
This might also be a good time to replace your spark plugs (easy job & can be done in the gas station car park - just make sure you put the right leads back onto the right plugs!). This should help if you have flooding problems.
Once again, I had flooding issues when I had a blown coolant seal.
Hope this helps.
