Cars starting to stall on startup

Cars starting to stall on startup

This morning when i started teh car from it sitting overnight, i turn it on and soon asi do its starts up normal then like 2 or 3 seconds later it will stall out and upon second start it seems fine. This also happened to me this after noon after about a 3 hour sit.

Am i not getting enough fuel or something?

I agree it does seem that injectors could be the cause. I would go ahead and check the FPR and fuel pressure from the pump.

I tried the search button but i only get to do it every 20seconds and id have a answer by the time i foudn the post.

How hard are the injectors to replace? do i need to take the motor apart to do it?

To get to the primary injectors you have to take the UIM off, yar.

But you, it sounds like you are having flooding problems. So eh..pull you're UIM, and clean all 4 of you're injectors.

umi what i had this problem and i took off my fuel rail and put new o ring and it runs but still in the mornings it start s and cuts off and my ldle is rough and i backed out the throttle on one of the vacume pumps the 1 by the ac tank

Note cleaning the injectors is not enough, they need to be rebuilt & flow tested to confirm. Makes a world of difference.

Notice the flow differance on the last two numbers "before" the cleaning (last 2 numbers are for the secondary injectors). That right there is why you need to send these things off to have them professionaly cleaned. That flow differance could easily create a lean condition and be damaging to the engine (especially turbo engines). Mine NA blew the rear rotor with the poor flowing injectors...
