carburetion

well, guys i am thinking abouting going with a completly new way of getting my low end torque back that I lost cuz my 5th and 6th ports do not open. I removed them and ported my manifold. I gained a lot in the 4k-6.5 range but I lost all the 1k-4k power. I am thinking of taking three mikuni super bike carbs and using a progessive linkage on them so that the secound two carbs do not open fully until I hit about 3.8 or so. The only thing that is going to be a pain is tuning the thing for power. I think this is possible. I guess I am still one of those in search for making an N/A as fast as I can. Not for lack of funds for a turbo just sort of a challenge. I was just seeing what you guys think about this. Which do yall think is better a seperatly controlled muti carbureted system or set of new injectors and fuel computer?

You've just described the standard throttle body!
If you want your low-end back, fix the aux port system. Carbs certainly won't help, and may make it worse if you want to keep your current peak power as it is.

It sounds like too much trouble and fabrication work to me.&nbsp Hey, if you really want to try, go for it!

I agree with NZConvertible, fix everything and while you are at it get some Pineapple racing sleves.
