I got an answer to my question fc3s.org's panels are hand layed. Instead of using the vacum bag process. For those of you who dont know much about cf vacum bag process is alot more expensive to do however it makes a much stonger and lighter panel.

Please don't get me wrong. I am always excited to see more people make more parts for these cars. That is what drives me to continue making things for the FC. I own them, work on them, and build them for people. I love this car. THe more parts people make, the better it is for me, and everyone else with one.
I have a cf sunroof in my drag fc I am building, but I ALWAYS look at everyone elses parts, and alot of the time buy other peoples parts for my FC's or customers FC's. I am honestly excited to see krazykoncepts panels. I think it's cool.
Thanks nestorx7. That car was almost the end of me trying to get it finished

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
But do either of you have plans for a cheaper fiberglass version?
The Formula Rice CF look is lost on me (being an old fart), but it sure would be nice to have a lighter roof that doesn't rust and can be painted to match the car.

I did have plans on doing a fiberglass roof but didnt say anything because i want to make sure the fibergalss is strong enough. Same reason why i am vacum bagging them. I dont want them to flap around in the wind

Where'd you pick up the bag from? If you ever want to get rid of it, sell it to me ...lol.
Im actually anxious to see the final product. When will you have pics?

Its not fully my stuff, more the shops. However we bought it to use on the rally cars and the season is now over so i can use it for whatever i want. Its more then just a bag though you need pumps, hoses, its a complete kit

Oh, I know that. It's the complete vac-bag setup. As I mentioned in another thread, it's a good choice for fabricating your stuff.
What rally cars are you guys working on? And when can we expect to see the first CF roof?
