Hey guys,
Im looking for a decently priced carbon fiber lip for my 90 gtu. ALSO, looking for a stock looking carbon fiber wing.

No such thing.
REAL carbon fiber is EXPENSIVE, PERIOD.
Cheap-*** carbon fiber crap isn't worth the headaches to fit them on.

IMO id go for a FRP lip, paint it, and go carbon wing. lips look better matching, unless its textured plastic. thats just my opinion.


not to mention i can see rocks etc chipping the **** out of a carbon lip.....lips see a lot of abuse- why get an expensive one when a cheap one looks just as good as is easier to replace?

+1 on the shine front lip. A front lip will take a beating and CF is too brittle and expensive. I have the shine lip and mine is beat to hell. Some hits it takes in stride and some require a careful application of racing tape. I think it looks nice in black on a red car, plus if you leave it black it doesn't look like hell when it's covered with racing tape. It brought my oil temps down a little, and makes some front downforce. How much I couldn't tell you, probably not enough to matter, but you can see it actually bending down from the force of the wind in some pictures.
