A cooling panel there (be it factory or aftermarket) is required for proper airflow and cooling of the engine.

Actually, almost all FC's have the overflow bottle on the front. I just got lucky and grabbed one off an 86 sport that sits beside the leading coil

I can add that hole, but Im going to have to charge $10 more. That kevlar is SUCH a bitch to cut.

The panel keeps air from going over the radiator. There are plastic pieces that come on the car, but this makes everything look A LOT cleaner.

I also sell carbon fiber radiator panels, but I dont have any made right now. I dont normally keep parts in stock. I just wanted to get pics of the kevlar one before I sell. Go check out my carbin fiber page here to see all of my products.

Thats my custom intake. I used SCAT tubing(aircraft stuff), and the filter sits in front of my radiator. pics of my intake are here.

nice..looks like that setup will only work on the series 4 models? the radiator extends all the way to the end on the S5's. how do you keep water out of the intake?

Nice work! Are you bagging your setups, or relying on gravity? I think I asked you this before but cant remember. You are right Kevlar is a PITA to cut! Try cutting the cloth with plain shears! Best of luck with it.

No, my car is a 90. I had to trim the radiator supports, but the radiator does not go to the frame rails. The filter is plenty high. The bottom of it is a good 12" off the ground. If I get into 12" of water, Ill be swimming...my floor is 5" off the ground.

Boost, I have an $80 pair of scissors I use for the kevlar. Even with those, it isnt easy. It cuts cleanly, but it is far from easy. My scissors That page doesnt do them justice though. Go check out the construction and gaurantee on the main page. BTW, I didnt pay $80 for them, I sell them for that. They are a godsend for composite work. They cut everything great. I think you could really use them. PM me if oyu want a pair, or you want the full sales pitch about them. Im a sales rep for Cutco products.

Oh, and I still rely on gravity

I dont normally keep things in stock. I almost always make things after I recieve the order. These 2 things are the first of that type I have made. And I need pics to sell them. Now I have them finished, and have pics, and want to sell them.

And all of my stuff is always available.

If you want to request something you dont see on my cf page at www.fc3s.org, send me an email, or post on the forum at www.fc3s.org .

I'll take the lids. You can ship them with the stereo surround I gave you a deposit for a couple of years ago. Is it ready yet?
