Mine has the hook on it so it can be used with the hood latch. I wouldnt ruin a CF hood by putting pins in it. My previous hood had pins in it and it looked like crap.

Hmm, i had this idea to take an aluminum hood, then cut away (stategicaly) the webbing on it, and and a rearwards vent to it to help with cooling. Then, paint it flat black, and stick hood pins on it. LMAO: ... screw the latch,it's too much weight!

Hardly much weight, given it does reduce the weight slightly by using hood pins, ive seen people crack windshields and lose hoods from improper use of hood pins. I prefer the safety of the stock latch for the whole pound that it weighs.

Odura Racing or Odula Racing however they spell it has a hood scoop and rear vents. Expensive tho, I think around $1300?

Knight Sports has a Fiberglass hood with a scoop or a reverse vent as well.
