car wont stay running with afm unplugged

s5 na
removed all emissions, ran fuel lines to the rails, capped off extra vacuum stuff, made block off plates, etc
no o2 sensor because its just got a header right now

starts and dies instantly with afm plugged in, with afm unplugged it runs if i play with the throttle just a tad

getting spark on leading and trailing, getting fuel as its starting
compression tested out fine
tps ohmed and volted fine, cant do much til cars warm though, stupid thermowax bs
https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=60678
afm shows 4 volts at 2b at ecu, but when ohmed out the intake air thermosensor shows 1.7k for 80 F which seems a little off, tested everything on these pages at the ecu, all reasonable it seemed as far as the key on stuff

f1-79-f1-82

found threads saying that it meant bad afm, vacuum leaks, bad fuel pump relay, etc, but i cant figure this sucker out

the car was a keg when we started on it, now everything should be connected fine, anything else i could be overlooking?

anyone have a vacuum diagram for it? maybe one with the emissions stuff not shown, i couldnt find one after hours of searching

thanks guys

CHeck for intake hoses not attatched.. like the BAC hose and the otherone that attatches to the stock accordina intake pipe. Sounds to me like massive air is getting in thats not being monitored.

Vacuum/intake leaks. I had the same problem. I felt stupid when I found that a vacuum line was caught in the intake tube keeping it partially open.

you gotta vacuum leak, get a can of starting fluid and start spraying with some 1 giving it gas and keeping it steady, and when rpms moves there is were the leak is

car will not run steady at all, i can barely get it to stay running, only with me blipping the throttle and even then it dies after a few seconds. with no throttle input from me the car starts and dies instantly

if i could get her to run, id try the starting fluid trick

hrmmm found the nipple on the pressure sender broke off, and theres no hose running to it anywhere
the haynes shows it as getting vacuum from after the tb, i guess i'll see what happens

found the vacuum diagram, page 119 and on

i have to redo the bare black stuff someone else did if this doesnt work, and that doesnt sound like much fun to me hehe
